Pantone, a company that publishes colour codes, has chosen a ‘colour of the year’ ever since 2000. Radiant Orchid has been chosen for 2014.
This colour is a combination of fuchsia, purple and pink and symbolises innovation, creativity and originality.
“A colour that encourages innovation because it increases your creativity”, in the words of Pantone’s director Leatrice Eiseman. In addition, this colour inspires self-confidence and radiates joy, love and health”. So it is an ideal colour for your home or work environment, or for clothing.
