During this year’s Dutch Design Week (19-27 October), we are proud to present in collaboration with design studio Alissa+Nienke our research project “Fringes & Floats”.
Fringes & Floats is a collection of innovative, woven textiles for (large scale) interior applications, like wallcoverings, room dividers and acoustic wall hangings. The rich range of surfaces is the outcome of a research project into the possibilities of 3D weaving technology.
Applying special techniques like fringes, floats and layering, threedimensional surfaces are created that trigger our senses and bring softness into our daily spaces. For us, the ideal combination of craftsmanship and new technologies. Special thanks to Creative Industries Fund NL.
